Chef Caio Felipe Reiter

Our Chef Caio Felipe Reiter, born in 1994, has Brazilian roots, but grew up in Europe. Son of cooks, he developed his passion for gastronomy from an early age. Despite his origins, he is a fan of Portuguese culture. He classifies Portuguese food as one of the richest in the world.


At 15, he decided to enter hotel management school in Portimão. There, he won several awards and had the opportunity to intern in high-quality restaurants, such as Vila Vita Parc and Ocean, awarded two Michelin stars. Inspired by his surname, Reiter, he chose to follow his roots and moved to Germany, more precisely to Tegernsee, in the Munich region. There, he stayed for more than 2 years, having the privilege of working with chefs awarded three Michelin stars.


After this experience, he returned to Portugal and joined Chef Gil Fernandes' team at the Fortaleza do Guincho restaurant, awarded a Michelin star. In 2016, he returned to the Algarve, where he took on the leadership of a new family project. After a year, he decided to follow his own path as a Sous-chef and joined the Dos Artistas restaurant, a place he has always admired and where he has a special affection.


Nowadays, the Dos Artistas restaurant is led by Chef Caio Reiter. He is responsible for conceiving, creating and developing all dishes, working together with a diverse team from various cultures.
